Order Process

Can anyone who has put in an order tell me about the process?

What forms did you submit to your dealer and/or to Nissan? Then what happens? Do you get some kind of confirmation from your dealer and/or Nissan that the order has been accepted. Then, do you get some kind of notification when your car starts the build process?

If not you have to find a dealer with a decent price $5-$10K over MSRP...(Good Luck)

You have to fillout a pre-order form, the dealer shoul dbe telling you if its for a 2009 or 2010 allocation, and you have to put $5-$10K depost, I suggest $5K, at most dealers this is fully refundable...

If its for a 2009 (if there are any left) the process your order to Nissan, and then you play the sit and wait game...

Then the dealer will contact you with an order number, bilt date and a tentative delivery date...

I have put an order in an it is pretty simple. The dealer fills out an order form based on your preferences, charges you some sort of deposit (in my case the deposit was $5k), and then the dealer sends in the order form to Nissan. You should get a copy of the order form from the dealer and a copy of the receipt for your deposit. The order form for all dealers that I have seen is an excel file.

After that you sit and wait. Once Nissan accepts your order you will get a build date and eventually you will get a Vin#, but if you are just putting in your order now you will probably be waiting a while.

if you oreder it in 2006 ,your chance is to have one(maybe) at the end of 2008,if not,,,,,,,,,good luck , cause per dealer only get 5~7 gtr per year,

there are still plenty of dealers out there that have a 09 allocation...their prices are high hence why they still have some in stock. if you need on elet me know.

yeah JDM ones are so readily available now...I was thinking of getting one myself since I can get one for 3.0% finance but bringing it back to the states is a pain and then the radio and NAVI wont work in the states...
