We've begun the acquisition of the first OEM R35 parts in Canada for our development of parts for Nissan's new flagship! We all know they are huge
(15") but seeing them in person is another thing :) Front are 34 mm thick while the backs are 30 mm thick! Doing a brake job will set you back nearly $6000 in Canada for parts alone! Front and rear rotors list for $1098 plus taxes! Front pads are $933.90 and rear pads are $768.90! Ouch!

Just thought some would like to get a size and price comparison between the GTR, R33 and Z32 TT!

We plan on offering the R35 in a 2 -pc with multi-slots vs cast holes and our pads will be offered in our proprietory Carbon-Ceramic compound we use for the Z32/Z33. Cryo treatment will be offered as well!

Talk about massive...yikes!

The maintenence is going to be killer on these GT-R's hence another reason why I cannot afford one.

I believe that aftermarket parts will show significant cost savings over OEM replacement parts. I am glad that there are already several tuners in N.A.
looking at this car.

I just want to be sure that the same performance, fitment, and longevity comes along with it.

Wow, those oem pads must be made of kryptonite to cost that much! ;)
I can't see any reason to buy oem when aftermarket is oging to cost so much less. Also, unless you a true track junkie, I doubt anyone's gonna need a set of those massive oem rotors either during their course of ownership. I know I rarely keep a car long enough to warrant a rotor replacement.

Wow, those oem pads must be made of some really special material to cost that much! ;)

Cool pic comparisons, thanks!

i don't think you will find any cheap aftermarkt.
nissan making around 5000 GTR/year?
think about it. this car is not a mass production car. not a 350z.
why NSX aftermarket is expensive? supply and demand

Yes, if you look at the aftermarket tuners and their offerings for brake pads, rotors, etc. They are less expensive than the OEM parts. There are several.

maybe brembo or stoptech gonna make 15"rotor(2 piece rotor).
less expensive than OEM parts but still expensive.

We should have pricing and availability in the coming weeks - definite cost savings over OEM.
