Hello all. I hope there are some folks in the Arizona area looking forward to getting their 2009 GT-R like I am. I was just called today by my dealer with a July delivery confirmation! Yipee
Let's get this Arizona site up and running and hopefully we will be able to have a track event at PIR or Firebird where we can give our cars a try!

Hello,
Ordered. No delivery date yet. Waiting.
I usually go to Speedworld more often because the track prep is generally better. You can get more personalized service, ,i.e. VHT sprayed on the track if you are going for records. The facilities aren't quite as nice, but the staff tend to be more personable and flexible.
Should definitely go once the cars get into town.

Hey, got referred to this site by Avanti5010. I'm currently living in Flagstaff, and don't have a GTR on order, but hopefully that'll change soon! Hope to meet some of you guys for meets, dinners, etc.

phoenix and tuscon people keep in touch. Im in El Paso Texas and would drive over there if there was a pretty good size event. My car is on order. And you cant blame the flagstaff guy for not having a gtr on order. The dealer there wanted like 110k for a GTR. Call colorado springs 7.k k over. We missed the ones in new mexico. They all(five for the whole state) went for msrp.

I need to make a t5rip out to Az. My parents and sis used to live in Scottsdale, right off Bell and 60th. Anyone near there?

Is it 60th Street or 60th Avenue?
I'm very close to Bell and 60th Street.
When are you coming? Do you have a GT-R?

Hey! Just joined the club yesterday. Have been looking for white on black GTR, but refuse to pay the exorbinate permium that dealers are asking. I will definitely be buying a GTR in the future, but only at a reasonzable price. I will look forward to your up coming local events.

Not yet. Although there are quite a few GT-Rs in the area, only a couple of owners are members of the GTR Club.com.
I have hooked up with the Desert Z Association. I met the group at The Pavillions one Saturday and they cordially invited me to hang with them.
They are rewriting their bylaws to allow GT-Rs in the Club so I have joined.
I would suggest that other GT-R owners in the Valley of the Sun do the same. They are a great group. They meet at Pinnacle Nissan the first Wednesday of the month. They plan a lot of events and GT-Rs are welcome.
For example, today Nissan brought the "Follow The Z" show to the Westgate and the club held a show there and got to see the new 370s. I attended and had a great time. I think about 200 people took pix of my GT-R!
