DAMN! Is it strictly done by time (months) as opposed to miles? This is up there w/ owning a Porsche. We had 15,000 and 30,000 mile service due that ran about $1,500 - $3,000. Thanks for posting this... anyone here buying this package?

I couldn't find where it said that, and as far as that yearly DOT inspection, I'm not sure if thats required here

Any of you guys in the Atlanta can feel free to have us do the same work per the factory Nissan GT-R manual at only $59/hour ;) I can promise we'll be WAY cheaper than Nissan and do the exact same work to factory spec.

Is it still under warranty if you guys service it? I'll probably take you up on that.

As far as I know (going off the Magnusson-Moss warranty act), the only time a dealership can deny a warranty claim is if failure of the part(s) in question were directly caused by an after market part. So, as an example if you had a 1000 horsepower GT-R and something with the steering system messed up, they couldn't deny the warranty claim because of the engine/turbo work.

We do all work by the factory repair manuals specifications and use a torque wrench on everything, etc...so I'd venture to say that our installs will be more technically accurate than most dealerships out there given what we've seen and done with the Supra and other cars! But, then again at least Nissan is doing things right and having a technician at each GT-R dealership trained specifically for the GT-R (similar to Viper techs, etc.) Toyota should have done this for the Supra...try asking ANY Toyota dealership to diagnose a problem with the stock twin turbo sequential system and you'll get blank stares :)

Is the US spec suppose to follow the same schedule?

On the official website, inspections are included for the first 36 months. So, it looks like the package above is strictly for oil changes. Not a good deal if so. If it were an all inclusive maintenance package similar to bmw then, I'd buy it.

according to official maintainance schedule then the first oil change is at 6 months or 6000km, and transmission oil change at 12months or 12000km!!!! Why is then everyone suggested to change the transmission oil at 2000km or together with the first service at 1000km????????
