You have seen videos of Japanese professional drivers running GT-Rs at Tsukuba Circuit around 1:02, even with Amuse's modified GT-R it ran 1:00. Japanese Top tier tuner Mine's has done it again. With professional driver Tetsuya Yamano behind the wheel, the Mine's tuned Nissan R35 GT-R lapped Japan's Tsukuba circuit in 59.367 seconds which is the fastest so far with the new GTR at Tsukuba on 2/15/08.

Modifications include full Mine’s Spec III suspension (Sachs dampers, Eibach springs), Mine’s VX ROM ECU, Mine’s Silence-VX Pro Titan II exhaust and upgraded Mine’s brake rotor kit (400mm front rotors).

Very nice! It is interesting to watch what minor modifications on a GT-R with a good driver can do :)

Impressive. Do you guys believe that Japanese tuner parts such as Mines and Amuse are worth the extra money over cheaper US alternatives?
