NEW US GTR - trouble w/ Daytime lights

Hi All,
Just pulled the trigger on a 09 GT-R from the states and as with all the other cars I've imported from the US thought all was easy-peasy until local Nissan dealer hit a huge snag with the daytime runnig lights for the RIV.
(they can't figure it out)
Can anyone help? I've read so many different things from a $1100 module to a simple computer work around that takes a hour of labour/shop time.

Any help very appreciated

I got a nice set of LED driving lights on eBay for about $15.00 and wired them into the cigar lighter/power outlet. They come on when you start the car and off when you shut down.
Pretty inexpensive and a lot less $$$$.
Not quite as classy as OEM, but they look good and do the job.

Hi, How much did importing the GTR cost you as of now ? what is the total ecpected cost ?
