The noise from my breaks on my car are killing me and the Dealer in Evanston knows nothing and just says that is what the car does. It seems other guys have been able to fix the issue. Does anyone know or have a dealer in the Chicago Area that will know who to really fix the issue instead of just blaming the design of the car?

how many miles are on your car? the noise is normal, wear them down or replace with better pads...

No its not the normal noise. I understand the squeaking when i push the breaks, I get that. But I get a scraping noise as I roll, you can really where it when i roll in traffic right before i press the breaks. It sounds almost like the pads are still engaged.
I am not a mechanic but I don't think this is the normal break sound they talk about. My dealer mechanic does not know what is wrong or happening and i was wondering if anyone had a dealer who might be more aware of the car.

wash out your brakes...and slightly oil the rotors and whipe them clean...try this and see if it works...look around your pads to ensure they are not sticking too.

The brake pads are always contacting the brake rotors, if it squeaking when you push the brake, it's also possible that it makes similar noise when you start to roll. It doesn't mean that there are no problem, possibility could be rough finish or wrapped rotor, loose fitting brake pads, lack of silicone compound on the brake pad, or even improper tightening sequence on lug nuts or caliper hardware. Might want to try another dealership and get a 2nd opinion.

run the car hard for a few hours, heat up the pads and brake hard, then you will know: if the pads or rotors are lose or if the pads just needed to be broken in...

The squeeks are common; and they get less frequent after use.
The rubbing sound you describe is NOT normal.
I've been happy with the GT-R tech (Jay) at my dealer, Bill Kay Nissan in Downers Grove, IL.
Good luck.
