My GT-R redusing oil is this normal or not:confused:

Explain more....i dont understand.
What oil are you using? Mobile 1 0W-40 from the dealer?
If you are, change the oil to Motul 15W-40 from now on. Our weather is not a joke, the Mobile 1 is very thin and bad for our kind of weather..

i checked the engine oil gauge and it looks it's less by a half,it's between the max and min line.
yaah i'm using Mobile 1 0W-40 from the dealer

between the max and min... that's the best performance volume.
at the max point you lost plenty of power^^

can you elaborate more on the oil for our weather.. i am interseted to know more about it as am running boost on my stock engine.
i am using castrol edge 10w60 ..!!!

our new generation development engine comes with much smaller oil passage, that's why we not use "thick" oil for daily drive.
some new age engine suit 0/5~30w or 40w burned thier cylinder head when use "over thick" oil. unless you "always" reach extreme high temp.
