Does anyone suffer from this problem ?
My car tends to pull to the left everytime I brake ...is the something wrong with my 4 wheel drive / my tires / my alignment / ???? Or is this a common phenomena with fat tires ?
Yes this occurs on uneven road surfaces.
I don't experience that on my car. I have this problem with my other car and the mechanic told me that the brake was not balanced. He fixed it by replacing one of the defunct brake pump. I am not technically familiar with this so may be Norman can chime in..

Yes, I guess this must be the same problem....unbalanced pressure on the brakes...left side gripping more than the right side.
Norman, any cure for this problem ???

new brake hose + fluids seemed to have helped me on this problem. brakes feel much more even now!
I have a feeling brake pads too play a role in this?
Uneven road surface is definitely a cause for the pulling.
if you go on a flat road (parking lots), and it still pulls left at any speed you go (fast or slow).... then atleast we've ruled out the 'uneven roads'

Hi Pete, sorry no reply immediately.
Alignment! when you come to KL, bring me to alignment together. I will give the tyre shop some advice to set our GTR. We can set it as a custom alignment.
if it pull badly, it cause you wear out the front tyre's inner tread badly.
Your car just runs few thousand mileage, all bush/ brake caliper's piston should be in good condition.
any needs urgent, just give me a call.
And yes Azri, Hose makes more even too^^

Hello Guys
I tried this experiment today and it worked....I lessen the tyre pressure to 190 instead of 200.
I got a more comfortable ride and it brakes super well...no more the funny feeling at the steering and it brakes straight.

190 - 200 sounds a little low for GTR tyre pressure OR 20" wheels.
Have you taken a look at the sticker at the driver's side door for manufacturer's recommended?

I am looking at the owners manual now on page 8-32 and it mentions 200kpa. I lowered the pressure (COLD) to 190kpa and I have better feeling and control on my steering.
Not sure if this pressure is for Malaysia....the manual is for US GTR.

should be the same peter!
I read somewhere that some guys are using 230kpa.. (better for street driving).... can anyone confirm?

Plus 10% is acceptable. guess you need alignment not reduce the air pressure. have to run proper air pressure to protect TPMS.
230kpa when cold? it ruins ride comfort especially for run flats.
