Dear DKRM
How do u find the P Box. I bought one and I can't get accurate readings. It always show 10% speed difference ( lower) and it can never show 0 kph even when the caris stationary. I really don't have any confidence in the box.
Pete
Pete, Thats not really good, eh?
I have not use the PBox as yet. Will let you know how it goes.

Hello Guys,
Which is better ? Dunlop or Bridgestone ?
Pete
Norman

Brigestone is all round.
Dunlop give you more grip on dry, less grip on wet. and wear out faster compare to B.
these 2 are semi-semi slick tyre, tread wear around 180 (semi slick is 120+-)
that's other choice too~ Pirelli/ Michelin for high performance street tyre. tread wear 200+, wet performance and ride comfort much better than above 2.
Real performance~ R888.... too rough ride on street. Best Sepang track choice.

R888 is too noisy. I was in the car with it before and I am not sure I wanna have it even if I only use the car occasionally. But as Norman said, very grippy.
Anyone know if Nitto NT05R or Advan Neova 048R come up with GTR sizes?
I loveeeeeeeee 048R.. took 2 sec off track time last time i used it.

Sorry guys for my ignorance...what is R888 ? My B tyres are now awfully noisy ... but what the hell the GTR is not meant to be a Jaguar quiet car.

Here is info on Toyo R888 Tires. http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-r888
Nitto NT05R is a drag radial, not a good idea to use for circuit type of racing. The correct compound should be NT01R, but not in GT-R sizes...
Yokohama Advan A048 does not have 20" GT-R size either.

Thx Chinchi ^^
Pete, may be you can try Pirelli as your "dailly" highway use, when at 200km+, I guess Pirelli will give you more comfort on "clear and straight" performance. B & D will be a bit "blur" at 200+ to top speed(tread is big for corners only). you need to hold tight your steering wheels. ^^: may be the P's price is "slightly" higher but it will last longer than B&D. so just depand what you need on your car.
Azri's car with P is much better than our B on wet condition. he is relax, but sadly we need full concentrate... oh, his car corner on highway about 200+ at outer line wet condition... I had to get the shortest correct corner line to follow only.
Hey Azri, don't do it again.

Pete - I tested my Pbox today. So far It work well and show 0kmh when stationary. there are times is shows 0-1-2Kmh when stop but mostly 0. I think it is acceptable considering the accuracy of GPS
Azri - thxs for business card. Forgot to pay you earlier. Will do next time we meet.

Hello Ken....thanks
Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the link. I am essentially already done to stage 6 albeit with 2 thing missing - injector and intercooler.
Is it essential to have bigger injector and intercooler at stage 4 and 5, respectively? I would have thought we really don't need them until you start changing the turbo.
Does the Deatschwerks' injector a straight drop in or do we need to put spacer? My next upgrade will be injector and bigger/more efficient radiator.

When you install the injectors (and thus are able to run ~17psi all the way to redline,) we definitely recommend the intercooler and hard pipes, ESPECIALLY if you live in a hot climate! The stock turbos run out of efficiency at high boost levels and high RPM, and thus will quickly start blowing hot air. YOu need to cool this air as much as possible to prevent detonation/etc.
About the fuel injectors, yes they are direct drop in with no need for extra spacers, clips, or wiring.

Thanks Jeremy ^^
Hi Kamarul, advice from MVP~
We recommend these 700cc drop-in injectors to anyone wanting more than 575awhp. We have seen people squeeze up to 600awhp on stock injectors, but they are absolutely pushing the upper limits of what is called the injector duty cycle, and this is completely unsafe. Do not believe everything you read on the internet, take it from tuning experts with over a decade of turbocharged tuning experience!
810cc drop-in injectors to anyone wanting more than 670awhp.
950cc drop-in injectors to anyone wanting more than 760awhp.
Norman,
Thxs. That's what i thought. My car dyno'ed at 540whp. That's why I do not think I need bigger injector just yet. Intercooler on the other hand may have the benefit regardless. Cool air contain more O2. So it makes sense.

I just received a reply from official Dunlop suppliers that they do not intend to bring the OE Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST due to agreement with NISSAN JP.
