Guys,
See, i reckon i have less then 30hours play with the audio but the front driver side twitter speaker is a goner now..:( I know it is no BOSE with my Black Edition but really, is it advisable to get the changed with the door panels to be taken out during the installation?
Just need something that i can at least enjoy some music. Oh ya, also the FM...sigh..:D

Hello All
I too an totally dissatisfied with my STD sound system .... there seems to be 2 BASS speakers at the rear seat but I dont get any bass unless I set my BASS setting to Max.
The sound system is worse than what I have on my standard factory unit on my Toyota Porte.
Is there other menus hidden in Japanese where I can do some kind of adjustment other than the standard bass and treble ?

Hrmm... Dont think there are any other hidden menus.
My sound system seems to be ok.. not terrific but decent enough compared to a 4 speaker Honda City lets say.
I set my bass to 8/10 , treble to 10/10 . the rest (balance/fader) are all Centered.
Perhaps the quality is rubbish due to the quality of the MP3/CD that you're playing??
I use a CF card and most of my songs are 320kbps quality (CD quality is 192kbps)

petlee,
i agree. Why do NISSAN even bother to give us the stereo system if this is wht we get. Not sure how fantastic is the BOSE in the premium though. But those in Porsche, although claim BOSE...i dont think so..
The Harmon Kardon i had in the earlier ///M was great i would say though..but please anyone any suggestion what can we do with the sound system...thanks

Hi Tony,
The BOSE on my Porsche is excellent .... I really love it very much.
I did not have a chance to test any GTR with BOSE system but I think its gonna be good.
