GTR's step one modification list to everyone always is exhaust. BUT that brake system should list first too.

In a HK magazine mention that our OEM brake pad can handle a street car standard "low" 0~400C only! after 400C the heat gather up quickly and "over heat" our weak OEM disc. And with our fatty weight, even 34mm thick disc can easily unbalance/bend after just few aggressive hard braking from over 200km+ or few laps from track. So for this heavy weight GTR we have to change to higher temp range pads~ at least start from 0-50C to 600C-800C is needed. it can help to minimize the disc bend... a bit. just like never ending story, you have to change our weak rubber brake hose too, then change to the stronger after market disc or even the calipers.

However, Stanless/teflon brake hose and 600C+ pad is enough for my daily use.

Oh yes, our OEM front brake caliper is missing a upper spring. It loaded with bottom spring... Nissan saving the cost? don no ^^. but when your brake pad less and less about half you need the upper spring to stop the clicking noise from the pad. you can get this from Nissan parts store, it just exactly same as bottom one.:)

For aggressive driving brake cooling duct helps reduce disc wrap.;)

Endless MX72 claimed temp up to 750C. that's far good for street and Sunday Race.

Most important using these Pads disc wear less than others.

It works great! however you need 500km+- to break in. (match your worn disc) ;)
