COBB Access Port is now available for tuning at ST Wangan (Sunway) by our Japanese tuner, Mr Jun Furukawa (formerly from APEXi Japan, AP Engineering & APR).

A fren of mine offered me a used COBB down here in Perth. Should i grab it? Would the unit be transferrable by just plugging in? Thanks!

Hi Tony,

Yes you can grab it if you want as this item is universal to all R35 provided it is specifically for R35.

Please take note that if your friend has got it tuned, then the map is not for your car due to the fuel quality, climate etc.

You may need to have it re-tuned.

Thanks for your info. Main intention is to take the speed limiter away for now and of course the vallet mode that i can safely leave my car for someone to start the engine for me when i'm travelling.

Hi Tony,

before you buy that used AP, your friend have to reprogram his ECU back to OEM with that AP. becuse AP is one to one car only. or it just can read the codes for other carssS but can't use the AP programs to your car.

Ok, the best way is reflash the AP to your car at front of the seller. make sure it can works completely. then go home and check/update the new firmware through Cobb website and reflash your car again!

You can easily reach 560+hp (crank horsepower) using AP stage 2 plus mid pipe and rear exhaust change.

complete all your GTR upgradesss then go to STWangan for a custom tune.

Yes. I'm Selling a simple 100hp + package, for GTRs. I would like to locate AWD dynos all over the world. Would also like to do some travel. Maybe pick up some pointers and help out some.
