Talladega Run ? [Archive] - Speed For Sale

I've been told that you can run on the Speedway for a fee of $100 per two lap run. Tried contacting them directly but no response. Does anyone know if this is true ?

Never heard of that. Sounds fun. Motor Trend did 195 mph in a GTR at Talladega. You can rent the track. You have to buy the insurance so you need several participants.

I just spike with them. Apparently, they used to have this type of program but discontinued it earlier this year. Am really disappointed but will take my car down to Daytona for the Rolex 24 hour race and see if they will let me on the track there.

I was wondering, if anyone else besides totsubo and rgo808 will be going to Road Atlanta this Sat and Sunday to track their GT-R. If the weather holds up, it's going to be fun as hell.
