Certainly better performance than I expected. Beats the Z06 to 60, and barely a car length behind in the quarter. That's moving for a car that still manages to have 2 extra seats! Can't wait to see what SpeedForSale can unleash with mods.

This thing is a beast. Can't wait to strip it down naked :p
Found this today confirming the following:
0-60 in 3.5 seconds
11.7 in the 1/4 mile
192 MPH top speed
Under $80,000

sweet this is the earliest i have ever joined a forum. cant wait to start seeing these cars on the street (or in my garage)
I love it, it's so ugly, I won't feel bad replacing body panels right off the bat. A manual transmission swap is also a must.

Heh, I feel the same way about the front bumper. I think this is one of the few cars where an aftermarket front bumper will look WAY better than stock! :)

is what's in the pictures the final version? or will they be making some changes for the actual release and US version?
Those are supposed to be the first images of the final production car. However, who knows? They could always change things about the car for export from Japan if something doesn't go according to plan from the get-go...

It seems like we have awaited the release of this vehicle forever. Glad to see we are almost there and it looks like it will live up to its expectations.

If it is the final version before releasing in Japan, most likely we will get the same thing for the US. Rumor also said that US model will hit dealerships in Spring 08. Just hope that there will not be some downgrades for the US model.

The multifunction display can be used to monitor engine coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, transmission oil pressure, turbocharger boost pressure, torque split, throttle position, steering angle and longitudinal and lateral G-force. The display is also a data logger that can be used to improve driving technique and can display an optimal gearshift map for drivers obsessed with fuel economy. There is also a satellite-based navigation system and multimedia player. Here are some pictures:

Hey Jeremy do you have a public shop here in atlanta? I go to school in Marietta and would love to see the GT-R's you have preordered when they come in. Also my dad is wanting more details on how to preorder them. How did you get your hands on 2 and what can we do to pre-order because all of the Nissan dealerships we called have no idea about anything

We do everything by appointment only. We'll have the cars at local events once we get them as well. As far as ordering, we will be brokering new GT-R's for a certain dealership. If your dad is interested, please have him email us at sales@speedforsale.com
Thanks!
