Yo..Titanium is one very nice color! Reminds me of the Sepang Bronze that comes on the E60 M5.

Judging by the former garage, inc the R33, are you going to mod the R35?

When I take delivery I have some 2000km's to chew up before I can let the car loose.... how far is Bahrain from Abu Dhabi....??!!!!

^^ 1 hour by plane, 8-10 hours by car.

Why 2000km's?

2000km's is the required break in period according to Nissan in the owners manual.

I never followed this procedure with any of my cars. 500Km's imo is enough for break-in.

There is definitely some mixed thoughts and feelings on the topic. I personally have never had to run in a car for that long... typically 1000km's then vary up the acceleration and braking for the next 500 or so.

There are a couple of threads on the forum on this topic, many people originally thought the cars were already run-in, others have been swearing to keep the 2000km period as per Nissan.

It would be interesting to see who did the 2000, who didn't, if there are any problems etc etc.

VIP, any problems with yours, how many km's have you done now?
