Hey all

Just wondering how many others installed the GT570 kit by HKS?

was on my way to Abu Dhabi and passed by GTRs but they all seem stock.

I have seen couple of them in Abu Dhabi, one in Black and the other was the white one, I think. But definitley there are some in AD and other emirates.

You are right!! Thats why I did not go for anything. I am waiting for the best part to come in and it does not have trouble along the way. I will wait another year to think about it and it might get cheaper. The current performace is perfect. The only thing i could add are up graded brakes, the best in the industry and better tires if available.

Cheers

It's a solid kit, that maxes out the stock turbos and injectors. Aside from the GT570 kit, the next bump up would be turbocharger upgrade, larger injectors, and upgraded intercooler.

This kit seems to be a few steps on the path of performance upgrades from what I have seen, heard and read. Many people are starting with a simple exhaust upgrade, be it cat-back, mid-pipe, outlet pipes or a combination. Either this or people are adding the Cobb Tuning AccessPORT which just about every tuning shop in the US, in Aus, UK and some in Japan are selling as the best bang-for-your-buck upgrade. I think it can add something like 50Hp over stock straight away.

From what I understand of the 570 kit, it is the next step over these upgrades and is a considerable cost.

If you have done mod's already to the exhaust and have a ECU mod (Cobb or Mine's etc) then the piping, BOV, actuator upgrade if definitely next. Sharif is right though, the upgrade to the turbo wastegate actuators see some 2 bar almost available of boost and at that rate the engine will be near starving for fuel. There are some injector upgrades available around some of the reputable shops online.

Definitely in this climate you would want a larger intercooler with those sort of boost levels!

So far the car drives fine with the kit :)

What's the story with the check engine light? Is that because the air sensor isn't installed?

Whilst I don't know for sure I think the Racing package see's no cat's in the exhaust system.... guessing it would be a lot louder an exhaust note.

Correct . The sport class is basically with High Flow Cats.
