Just curious what gas people r using and where theyr getting it

100 octane gas is sold at Rebels gas station on the corner of Pecos and Sunset. Just filled up last night. You can also go to the Rebels gas station near the speedway.

Somebody told me the 100 is to much but that its good to mix it with the 91, is that true

Talked to a Nissan service manager and mechanic and was told that 100 octane is fine and won't damage the car. The issue is not having enough octane. Although 91 is ok, 93 or higher is recommended. It does state in the manual that you might experience a decrease in performance with 91 octane. So far haven't noticed any difference from 91 to 100, but then again, have not really driven the car hard yet (400miles). Did read several articles concerning adding octane boost, and all seem to say that it doesn't work. The only pain is in the pocket book--100 octane=$6.00/gallon. Hope this answers your question.

I've been mixing to make 93 for a few months. I'm not sure if it make a difference but it is not that much more money (compared to straight 100).
