View Full Version : HKS GT570 racepipe
this thing makes a difference! the power increase is extremely noticeable and it pulls hard as hell in 2nd and 3rd now! the sound isnt too bad at idle its just a deep throaty hum but when you open it up to full throttle even with the primary cats intact and the OEM muffler is loud as hell
boost has increased but im not sure exactly how much i thought i saw it spike at like 14 but im not 100% sure

Hey Matt, sounds good! We've had a lot of people going with just the Y-pipe and AccessPORT and they all seem very happy. The Y-pipe is much better bang for the buck than a full catback! Plus, you don't have to worry about interior drone with only a Y-pipe like you do with some catbacks...
yeah very true bang for the buck for sure. i can really feel the difference in power and im peak boosting higher too. around 14 i think. but i will say since this is the non resonated version. i get a little drone at about 2500 RPM on the freeway. i dont mind it but its enought for my girlfriend to complain haha

Does anybody have pictures of the install?
I plan on getting my local performance exhaust shop to make a custom version.

I have the same mid-pipe and when you combine this pipe with a Cobb AP tune ( custom tune for me from HP Logics - local to me ), it really wakes the car up. Better sound and more power, whats not to like!?!
