Chicago Track Days (2009) – MVP Track Time

Good Day All:

Just a quick note on MVP Track Time’s 2009 Chicago area track days. We have the Midwestern Swing listed below:

April 18-19: Putnam Park (Near Indy) ”Tax Freedom Track Weekend”

June 1: Autobahn Country Club (Joliet, IL) (FULL 3.56 mile track)

August 3: Autobahn Country Club II (Joliet, IL) (FULL 3.56 mile track)

September 5-6: Blackhawk Farms (Rockford, IL) ”No Hurricane Rain Track Weekend”

October 17-18: Mid Ohio (Near Columbus, OH)

I think you just pay 10 dollar at the gate to spectate.

Blackhawk farms has track days now for cars which is once a month i think its $225 online and $250 at the track
dates are as follows

6-24-09
7-17-09
8-19-09
9-16-09
10-14-09

MVP Track Time (http://www.mvptracktime.com) gladly welcomes spectators. Autobahn charges a $5 "site impact fee" to enter the track. Feel free to drop by!

any post-track service (etc brake pad, fluid etc ) i need to aware of if i decided to track my car ? I have no experience on track event before.

We (www.MVPTrackTime.com) recommend you have new fluids all around (particularly the brake fluid), brake pads with at least 50% life remaining and tires in good shape before getting on the track for an added safety measure. I know a lot of people have an oil change after a track day.

I would recomend that you swap out to a motul or at least ATE fluids. If you want a pad that can pull street/track duty well, i would recomend the Ferodo 2500 series pads. only decent option at the moment i think.

Not surprisingly, our August 3rd Autobahn Country Club track day on the full 3.56 mile track near Chicago is already 3/4 full. Despite dire weather predictions, we had a perfect day at Autobahn on June 1st with our usual great turn out of drivers.
