I just recently purchased the new GTR. It is an amazing car to say the least. The only issue that I am having is that it seems as though the two 8 inch subs in the rear are not on. I tried going in through the audio settings and even turned the bass all of the way up. I was just wondering if there is something special to turn those on that i am missing, or maybe they just arent working. Thanks for your help

The only thing is that i am almost positive that they are OFF, there is no sound coming from them, even if i put my head right up to them.

thanks a lot, yea, if your rear view shakes, then mine are definitely off, haha... it sounds really tinny and odd without bass.

Does anyone have a base GT-R? Seems all of the cars that are sold or dealers have for sale are Prem package?

Try checking the fuses. There might be a fuse for the sub amp controlling the subs. Other than that it could be a loose connector at the amp or subs.

If it's not a fuse, just take it to the dealer and let them troubleshoot it. Unless you don't mind taking some stuff apart...and in that case the sub amp should be mounted in the trunk on the back of the passenger's side of the rear seats.

I took the car to the dealership. The tech guy said that there was some clip connected into the subwoofers that was left unconnected. It only took about 20 minutes and I had the car back and the stereo is MUCH better.
