Im trying to find the seat mount for Sparcos.. the one from HKS Kansai has a bolt to mount the harness so you dont have to drill holes.

As in on the floor for the upper straps?

You NEVER want to mount the shoulder straps down low, in a accident, you are much more likely to compress your spin and suffer severe injury that way.

I would not attach directly to the tether, I would remove the factory tether and attach to the body directly. I would feel better if you would put small steel plates on either side of the deck lid, and use your own, much larger bolt.

That is something where saftey comes first, there is no sense in making a dangerous install only to save some time.

First off, I know the drawing is very crude, I did it in MS paint in 3 minutes on a laptop with no mouse. But to help illustrate what you need to do...

Yellow is the 5 pt. harness it's self, I am only addressing the mounting of it to the rear deck lid, not the side or front mountings.

Blue is the metal mounting tab of the belt it's self.

Red are the steel plates you should use. 3"by 3" 1/16"-1/8" think steel is ideal.

Green is the decklid it's self,

Pink is the "bolt" through it all.

Hopefully that gives you a better idea of what I am describing for a installation.

Jared, man nice drawing! LOL just busting your balls!

When I had my STI I had a harness bar installed behind the front seats that went all the way acorss from door to door...cant anyone make one of these for the GT-R? it was great to mount the shoulder straps and you still had room for your passengers in the back and the sraps were never in the way...
