abunch a guys at annother forum have been beta testing it out. i know someone here will have it very shortly, but no comment right now.
sofar nothing but great results! takes about 30mins to do a one time backup of the original ecu, but only about 6mins for a flash to any of the stages.
sofar everyone is loving stage one with a passion. and they cant wait to try stage two. the guys who have stage2 already (with aftermarket exaust) have gained considerbly hp! benji of gtc-r has seen 560+hp and its going to geto about 600hp.
the cobb guys have tried everything but i most recently seen them run 580 something horse power.
but once you get up that high alot has to be done. sofar cobb has seen overheating so they needed to add annother oil cooler. and i think alot of prep will be needed to keep the trans cool and smooth at that hp. any higher and major work will be needed, plus the stock turbos kind of loose there breath higher than that, so major work is needed for that too.
speedforsale guys are going to really give us all a treat with the aftermarket world tho, did you see all that stuff they are preping for the R35! looks awesome!
anyways you wont be dissapointed with the Cobb access port. its cheaper than any other aftermarket ecu and way more options and customability.

Our AccessPort will be here in a couple days, and we'll be doing before/after dyno tuning of our GT-R (catback and front pipe.) We'll post up results soon!

best ever. far better than sending your ecu in for a few days like the rest of the tuners in japan. just plug and play basically.
best dyno results sofar, better boost control utilizing the ecu to control boost.

I am considering buying the Cobb unit. Like many GTR owners
I am waiting to feel out the warranty situation. In the end I
believe it will be the owners relationship with the Servicing
Dealer that defines warranty coverage.

Mine will be here tomorrow, they shipped it out directly via ups the other day. I can't find a 4 wheel dyno here in Vegas to save my life! Although I'll have the unit, I'd like to do a before/after run to see what I got.

Hi everyone. Our stocking order of AccessPort units will be here this week. We still have several available, so let us know if you are interested.
We will also be posting before and after dyno graphs and data of the before and after effects of our GT-R (which has a front pipe and cat back) on Stage 2 Tune with 93 octane versus 104 octane unleaded.

I am waiting on mine. I ordered it last week. Should be here today or tomorrow.
What I really want to know is:
"I was told that if you mess with the computer, you will void the warranty.
So, just out of curiousity...
The GT-R has a VSDR (VEHICLE STATUS DATA RECORDER), which according to the dealer will record boost PSI, speed and so on. They told me this data gets looked at during my 1000 mile check up.
The reason I bought the COBB AP was for the Valet and AntiTheft maps, not really for the Stage 1 or 2 maps.
Can an uninstalled the COBB AP be detected by Nissan?
I do not want to show up for a tune up and the VSDR data is missing or something.
I apologize if this was answered elsewhere in the forum. I spoke to Adam at Perrin and he was not able to answer this question."

you can unisntall the cobb ap, but it can still be detected by nissan that it was flashed at one point in time. unless cobb tells us otherwise thats the case.

This is correct. A 'footprint' is left on the stock ECU. However I have been told that not every dealership SuperTech may be able to see this. However, if there is a significant failure and a regional GT-R Tech is sent out, they can detect it no problem.

Yes it can feel it... big gains from 100 octane too, try filling your stock gt-r with 100 octane gas and run it hard you will like it :)
checkout dyno runs with 100 octane.. the first run is STOCK map with 100 octane only! These numbers are wheel horsepower.. stock 91 at the pump gets you around 420 at the wheels from what I see on the dyno runs.
