This is our otherwise stock GT-R with the 5Zigen cat-less front pipe and 5Zigen SP Tune cat back. We got our 5Zigen stocking shipment this week, and immediately put this on our car ;) More mods to come in the next week or two!
The sound is pretty loud around 1800-2300 rpm, and has some resonance in the cockpit. Pretty loud considering it still has the stock downpipes with the two primary catalytic converters still in place. The car immediately feels more responsive at lower RPM with less turbo lag (not that it has much to start with though.)

Yep, stainless steel. We have an installation write up coming soon, with pictures!
Also, we'll try to get sound clips inside the car (time permitting.) It won't sound proper though, as the camera I'm using isn't that great unless you are right at the exhaust.

JB,
Just curious what are stock exhausts made from ? stainless?
Also how does titanium exhaust compare to stainless in terms of heat transfer.
Which has a higher risk to melting stuff around it?

Stainless has a higher thermal conductivity than Titanium.
Also, the stock exhaust is Titanium.

What does higher thermal conductivity mean for the unwashed masses? Is that a good or bad thing? And you should know, but I understood the stock exhaust to be SS not Ti. I'm wrong?
Also, I'm concerned over the drone issue. Did you happen to try and other combinations, like the back section w/o the middle section, or the street version of the muffler?
