Does anybody have any experience with towing a GT-R? I have one pre-ordered in another state and I am going to tow it back on a car trailer, but I need to get the tie-downs. It would also help if somebody could post a full picture of the underside of the car so I can see if tie-downs will work on the axel or suspension. Any help would be appreciated.

I am sure you could do it that way but maybe a easier will be to just strap the wheels/ tires to tie it down unless your really worried about the car boncing or rolling.

I would get these straps that go over the tires or get a strap that goes through one of the spokes and tie down that way. Warning on going through the spokes though because the straps can scratch the wheels pretty good when your pulling the straps tight. On my Brand new ISF the dealer had to replace a 2000 dollar wheel because of it. It scratched the paint right off wheel.

2 Important things - 1 Don't tie down over axle - very bad for them. 2 Use the supplied tow hook (should be in your tools for the car) and attach it to the FLATBEDS tow hook, look under rear, just inside of tires there is a tow connection point on both sides, similar ones just inside of front tires.

(no I don't own a GTR, how ever I've owned MANY Nissans, and this has been the case for ALL of their 'sports' cars and even my Versa has the tow hook in it's tools)

I would strap the wheels with the proper slings. This allows the suspension to ride free so your trailer will ride better and your suspension isn't bound up for the whole trip. I would not use the "Through the Wheel" straps for the GTR.
