its called...ces!!! it feels like that !!

Yes its a VVIP package that also came with a certificate from Nissan.

It is from the dealership and is fully warrantied.

I love Nissan products since long time and during my studies in the U.S.A from 1989 until 1993 I owned 2 300ZX turbo.

Yes indeed we were among the luckiest people in the Middle East to have these wonderful machines.
These machines needs a real operator to operate them very well, because some owners don’t know how to get the most power out of them they just leave the shift lever in (A) Automatic mode without any changes and at that settings the car will give only 70 to 80% out of it's power and that’s really pisses me off.

I saw your car at the dealer garage when I took my car for the 1st service and asked the supervisor about it and he said that it belong to (Mubarak).

Sure we will meet soon, but I’m a little busy now for Ramadan and the Rice Crises that is now is the talk of the city. :D Just kidding my darling.

Import Tax is about 6% . No luxury Tax . Well Direct Tax actually. They find other ways to separate you from your cash ;)

Hi everyone. I don't think I've actually added personal's to this so here goes:

Australian Expat living in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
Black VVIP R35

The GTR lives in my blood as I owned a highly modified R32 in late 1999 back in Australia. I love the R35 so much as it is more refined than the 32, and I really don't think it needs to be modified. well maybe for a better exhaust note but that's it. The car is truly a weapon on the street.

The prices are varying here when you negotiate but here goes (all from what I have learned from speaking with dealers both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi before buying):

US Spec 400,000 AED List
GCC Spec 460,000 AED List

The most knowledgeable dealership is Al Masaood Abu Dhabi, speak with Sherif.

The GCC spec is a lot more money for really not a lot at all. It has:
JDM spec Km/h and Metric instrumentation (US has the abaility to display metric values but the speedo is BOLD Miles as to is the ODO).
It has the clear side markers front and rear like the JDM and has an upgraded cooling system - although here the service centres are adjusting the coolant balance to aid with the heat. So far no problems for me and I haven't heard anyone else having overheating problems yet.
The GCC will also have the GCC radio station frequencies as the US doesn't tune into all stations over here.

The real disappointment for the GCC spec has to be the fact the Sat Nav doesn't work and still too this date (over 1 year) there is no confirmation from Nissan ME if it'll ever work. A number of the US Spec owners, including myself, are waiting for an update.

In the end, buy the US Spec. If you are looking to get it here as I mentioned speak with Al Masaood but I know they don't have many left (I bought the second last Black one, Gun Metal has gone, as too I think Titanium).

Wow, the Navi is definitely working? That's big news if it is because I personally was told that I could expect to get an update for the US spec once they had the maps done for the GCC suitable to work with the GTR system. Please let us know if this is confirmed = see with one's own eyes!!

Cars are more expensive here than in KSA definitely I know. That's the UAE! Personally beat a 911 turbo the other day in Abu Dhabi....

VVIP models were the very first units (pre-ordered) for the UAE royal family members. They were US Spec, and the first delivered anywhere in the world. They are signified by the Black Only interiors with Gold piping on seats, door arm handles and sills.

One would assume they will have an excellent resale value elsewhere in the world as no where received them.

nice to meet you.for the navi,there is an easy way to have it in your car,

first you have to buy the AUX kit

then you have to buy navi kit for the GCC,where you can find it in gulf wirless in abu dhabi and let them to fix it with AUX,
alot of my of my firends and me we done it this way.

No , I studed in the US back in 1997-2002. but I have some friends from Bahrain who were studing in washington DC. I have never Been in Bahrain but I would love to visit and work in UAE embassy in Bahrain.

How did you find working with AAM? Their parts have great results for excellent value for money.

They are great and very friendly …. And I have 550 horsepower and it did it cost me much, around 3 thousand dollar. I think 550 horsepower for 3000 dollar are very cheap. I am going back to them next week to add some pipes such as turbo down pipe, and upgrade my inter cooling system I am trying to reach 700 HP. Do you live in the US ? where are you from?

UAE GTR owner's are certainly not dead, we are living large!

I haven't seen anyone with a GTR for rent sorry, I think the best thing to aim for is to convince the dealers that you are a serious buyer and take a long test drive.
